Zita Livia Szabó (born November 13, 1975 in Karcag ) is a former Hungarian triathlete and Olympian (2008).

Career

Zita Szabó was active as a swimmer in her youth and came to triathlon at the age of 11. In 1992 she became Vice European Triathlon Champion with the Hungarian junior team in the Netherlands.

At the 2006 World Triathlon Championships short distance, Zita Szabó was the best Hungarian in 50th place.

She finished 38th at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Zita Szabó has not appeared internationally since 2010.
