Zoltán Friedmanszky (born October 22, 1934 in Ormosbánya ) is a former Hungarian football player and later coach .
Career
The striker Friedmanszky began his football career between 1945 and 1953 with Ormosbányai Bányász, Tatai Postás and Kiskunfélegyházi Vasas. At Kiskunfélegyházi he was even called up for the second division team. In 1953 he received his first professional contract with TF Haladás . In 1957 he moved to Ferencváros Budapest and played there until 1965 a total of 91 league games, in which he scored 36 goals. In the 1957/58 season he was the Hungarian top scorer with 16 goals. In 1962 and 1964 he won the Hungarian championship twice with the club .
Friedmanszky took part with the Hungarian national team in the 1958 World Cup, but could not play due to an injury. So Friedmanszky only four games of the Hungarian B selection between 1957 and 1959, in which he scored a goal.
From 1965 to 1971 Friedmanszky, who graduated as a sports teacher from the sports college in 1957, coached the youth of Ferencváros. He then moved to the Cuban club FC Matanzas as a coach for four years . In 1977 he went back to Hungary and looked after the Szolnoki MÁV FC . From 1978 to 1980 he went back to Ferencváros Budapest.
