Ormosbánya is a municipality in the county Kazincbarcika in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Ormosbánya is located in northern Hungary , 30 kilometers north of Miskolc , on the small river Ormos-patak . Neighboring communities are Izsófalva in the south and Rudabánya in the north. The nearest town, Kazincbarcika , is about 10 kilometers south of Ormosbánya.

Road No. 2609 runs through Ormosbánya. The railway line from Kazincbarcika to Rudabánya was abandoned in 2007, so travelers have to take the bus to the nearest train station in Kazincbarcika.
