Rudabánya is located in northern Hungary , a good 33 kilometers northwest of Miskolc , on the small river Ormos-patak . Neighboring communities are Felsőtelekes , Felsőkelecsény , Szuhogy and Ormosbánya . The closest city is Kazincbarcika .
