Mályinka is located in northern Hungary , 41 km west of Miskolc . Neighboring communities are Bánhorváti 11 km, Dédestapolcsány 4 km, Nagyvisnyó 7 km, Nekézseny 11 km and Tardona 7 km. The nearest town is Ózd, 29 km from Mályinka.
