Kazincbarcika Small Area

The small area Kazincbarcika (Hungarian Kazincbarcikai kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County in Northern Hungary until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, 20 of the 32 localities moved to the following district Kazincbarcika (Hungarian Kazincbarcikai járás ), 12 localities moved to the newly created district Putnok (Hungarian Putnoki járás ).

At the end of 2012 the small area counted 57,972 inhabitants on an area of ​​460.00 km². The administrative seat was in Kazincbarcika .
