Sárospatak small area
The small area Sárospatak [ ˈʃaːroʃpɒtɒk ] ( Hungarian Sárospataki kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all 16 localities of the small area were taken over into the Sárospatak district (Hungarian Sárospataki járás ). Besides the Tokaj small area, the Sárospatak small area was the only one in the county whose borders remained unchanged.
At the end of 2012, 25,057 people lived in an area of 477.67 km². The administrative seat was in the only city Sárospatak (12.827 Ew.)
