Tiszaújváros small area
The small area Tiszaújváros ( Hungarian Tiszaújvárosi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) in the southeast of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, it was mainly in the following district of Tiszaújváros (Hungarian Tiszaújvárosi járás ), the village of Hejőpapi moved to the district of Mezőcsát (Hungarian Mezőcsáti járás ).
At the end of 2012, the small area had an area of 256.27 km² with 32,514 inhabitants. The administrative seat was in the only city Tiszaújváros (16,554 Ew.). With 127 inhabitants per square kilometer, it had the second highest population density after Miskolc .
