Girincs is a Hungarian community in the county Tiszaújváros in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Girincs is located 20 kilometers southeast of the Miskolc county seat , 6.5 kilometers northwest of the district town of Tiszaújváros , on the Sajó River . Neighboring communities are Köröm (2 kilometers northwest) and Kiscsécs (2 kilometers east).

The road no. 3607 runs through Girincs. The nearest railway stations are in Hernádnémeti - Bőcs to the north and Nyékládháza and Hejőkeresztúr to the west . From the beginning of April to mid-November there is a ferry connection across the Sajó River towards Sajószöged .
