Geographical location
Szakáld is located in northern Hungary , 15 kilometers south of the Miskolc county seat , between the Hejő and Sajó rivers . Neighboring communities are Hejőszalonta , Hejőbába and Nagycsécs . The nearest town Tiszaújváros is 10 kilometers east of Szakáld.
