Abaúj-Hegyköz small area

The Abaúj-Hegyköz small area ( Abaúj-Hegyközi kistérség in Hungarian ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county until the end of 2012 . As part of the administrative reform of 2013, all localities in the small area were transferred to the subsequent district of Gönc (Hungarian Gönci járás ).

14,446 inhabitants (end of 2012) lived in an area of ​​440.52 km². The administrative seat was in the city of Gönc .
