Pányok is a Hungarian community in the county Gönc in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Pányok is located in northern Hungary , 74 kilometers northeast of the Miskolc county seat , on the Hasdát-patak river . The municipality is located on the western edge of the Zemplén Mountains , the border with Slovakia runs a good two kilometers away . Neighboring municipalities are Abaújvár in the west, Kéked in the north and Zsujta in the southwest.
