Geographical location
Hernádszurdok is located in northern Hungary , 57 kilometers from the Miskolc county seat , on the western bank of the Hernád River . Neighboring communities are Garadna 8 km, Hidasnémeti 2 km and Tornyosnémeti 6 km. The nearest town, Gönc, is 6 km from Hernádszurdok.
