Telkibánya is a Hungarian community in the county Gönc in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Telkibánya is located in northern Hungary , 60 kilometers northeast of the Miskolc county seat and a good six kilometers east of the city of Gönc . Neighboring communities are Bózsva and Zsujta

The wooded area around the community provides a habitat for some rare bird species. So there find Woodlark , wagtail , Ural owl , eagle owl , corncrake , middle spotted woodpecker , white-backed woodpecker , eastern imperial eagle , serpent eagle , spotted eagle and golden eagle .
Furthermore, in the region you can find alpine buck , scarlet flat beetle , Zemplener ground beetle and yellow-bellied toad .
