Small area Ózd

The small area Ózd ( Hungarian Ózdi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013 it was divided into the district Ózd (Hungarian Ózdi járás ) (17 localities) and the newly created district Putnok (Hungarian Putnoki járás ) (12 localities).

At the end of 2012, there were 67,963 inhabitants on an area of ​​549.74 km². The administrative seat was in Ózd .
