Nekézseny is a municipality in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county .
Geographical location
Nekézseny is located in northern Hungary , 46 kilometers northwest of the Miskolc county seat . Neighboring communities are Csokvaomány , Dédestapolcsány , Lénárddaróc and Sáta . The nearest town, Ózd, is about 15 km from Nekézseny.
history
The place was founded in the Árpád period. In 1415 it was first mentioned in a tax list. This area was also occupied by the Turks. A Reformed parish has existed since 1782. Construction of the church from 1816 to 1822. In 1966 the place was united with Sáta and became independent again after the system change.

traffic
Road No. 2518 runs through Nekézseny. The railway line from Putnok to Eger runs south of the village, but no longer carries passengers.
