Borsodbóta [ borʃodboːtɒ ] is a Hungarian community in the district Ózd in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Borsodbóta is located in a small valley in northern Hungary , 44 kilometers northwest of the county seat of Miskolc . Neighboring communities are Sajómercse seven, Sáta four and Uppony four kilometers away. The nearest town Ózd is eight kilometers west of Borsodbóta. To the east of Uppony there is an artificial reservoir that serves as a drinking water reservoir .

Agriculture is practiced in Borsodbóta . Particular attention is wine to emphasize. There is also a Dutch campsite in the municipality.
