Zoran Simović (born November 2, 1954 ) is a former Yugoslav football player .

Career

Simović began his career in 1975 with Napredak Kruševac and moved to Hajduk Split in 1980 . In 1983 he was voted Yugoslavia's Footballer of the Year and in 1984 he won the Yugoslav Cup with Hajduk. In 1984 he moved to Turkey to Galatasaray Istanbul , where he was twice Turkish football champion . He also won the Turkish Cup once and the Turkish Supercup twice . At the time of his engagement in Istanbul he was called up to the national team of Yugoslavia which took part in the European Football Championship 1984 in France . Simović was used twice in this tournament, but Yugoslavia was eliminated in the group stage. Simović ended his career in 1990.
