history

Evangelical village church Zschochau

The place was first mentioned in 1185 as a manor. Zschochau has a manor that is documented in writing in 1551. There is an airfield for paragliders on the outskirts. Zschochau lies in a valley.

The church was rebuilt in 1866 after a village fire and completely renovated in the early 1990s. The interior is well preserved and offers manor boxes and an organ by Franz-Emil Keller .
