Zsuzsanna Németh (* 16th July 1953 in Budapest as Zsuzsanna Serényi ) is a Hungarian bank manager and politician .

Career

Németh completed her training in foreign trade in 1976, where she worked until 1990. After the Hungarian Revolution, she moved to Bank Leumi as a department head . In 1995 she went to the Budapest branch of OTP Bank as head of the checking accounts department , where she later became the head of the credit department. In 1998 she moved to the Hungarian Development Bank , where she took on various administrative tasks and later rose to the position of deputy managing director. In December 2011 Viktor Orbán appointed her to succeed Tamás Fellegi as Minister for National Development, making her the only woman in the cabinet. After a cabinet reshuffle following the parliamentary elections in 2014 , Miklós Seszták took over the ministerial office. Németh later became State Secretary for Financial Services and Postal Affairs and, from December 2018, chairwoman of the supervisory board of ND Nemzeti Dohánykereskedelmi , which administers the concession contracts of national tobacco shops.

Sometimes it is led under the name Németh Lászlóné , d. H. as the wife of László Németh.
