Zuckermantelhof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Zuckermantelhof (formerly: Schönkirchner Hof ) is a Vorwerk southwest of Schönkirchen in Lower Austria .

The courtyard once belonged to Schönkirchen Palace . During the First World War , South Tyrolean war refugees were housed in the buildings. In 1931 Gustav and Wilhelm Löw are named as owners. While the agricultural areas are still used for agriculture, there is now an equestrian center in the estate itself.

The owner of the Zuckermantelhof, Andreas Kisling, has been producing biodiesel, for example from rapeseed, since 1988. In 1992 he received the innovation award of the Province of Lower Austria and the Republic of Austria.
