The former Gasthof Zum Römischen Kaiser is a listed building in the district of Niederselters in the Central Hessian community of Selters (Taunus) .

The main building, which has been preserved to this day, was built as an inn in the 18th century, and in the period around and after 1800 it was also used as a post office. While the lower two floors consist of quarry stone walls with a thickness of about one meter, the third floor is designed as a half-timbered construction. In the 1970s that was Mansard - hip roof with a pitched roof replaced, also the house with Eternit disguise what, according to the on Monuments State Office "the impression of massive deformity [causes]."

At the end of May 2012, Klaus-Peter Willsch , a member of the Bundestag, announced that the Bundestag budget committee would provide € 180,000 for the renovation of the inn. This includes in particular the restoration of the mansard roof. The state of Hesse will also support the construction work financially.
