The Haus Zum Schwarzen Adler is a former brewery restaurant with the address Bäckerstraße 9 in Kempten (Allgäu) . The building is a listed building .

history

The pub owned the brewery, brandy distillery and wine tavern rights . The brewery was in the rear building . In 1889 the landlord Franz Nussmann founded a building materials business in the building, and brewing was given up a year later. The economy continued to operate and was leased from 1920. In 1952 this was also closed. Today the city youth council has its seat in the listed building (file no. D-7-63-000-17) with a conspicuous roof structure.

The former restaurant is a three-story building with an elevator gable. It has a core from the 15th, but mostly from the 17th and 18th centuries. The facade of the property was redesigned in 1930. Cross-storey windows have been preserved on the upper floors.
