Zurcaroh is an Austrian acrobatics and dance group from Götzis , Vorarlberg, consisting of 48 members , which, with its leader Peterson da Cruz Hora, presents show acrobatics.

history

The Brazilian Peterson da Cruz Hora , founder and choreographer of the Zurcaroh group, has been involved in acrobatics and dance since he was a child . For eleven years he has already trained and choreographed the performances of other groups. In 2007 he founded the acrobatic group “Zurcaroh” in Brazil . With her he participated in the same year the 13th Gymnaestrada in Austria Dornbirn part. Subsequently, Peterson also settled in Vorarlberg and founded the Zurcaroh group again in 2009. At the beginning the group, which quickly gained popularity, consisted of thirteen members from Austria .

2011

In 2011 Zurcaroh entered the international show business with an appearance in Lausanne . A year later they qualified for the Gym for Life World Challenge 2013 in Cape Town . With the success there, the world championship title of the World Gymnastics Federation ( FIG ), the rise from a largely unknown acrobatic group to a globally active show act began.

In 2014 Zurcaroh presented the show “The Different Faces of the World” for the first time in the specially organized 90-minute gala night, a combination of all of her previous great choreographies.

At the 15th World Gymnaestrada in 2015, Zurcaroh made the grand finale.

Zurcaroh also presented the final show at the 2016 Univé Gym Gala - A Touch of Gold sports gala, one of the largest of its kind, where the best athletes in the Netherlands compete against each other. In the TV show "Incroyable Talent", the French version of the Super talent , they could the so-called "Golden Buzzer" snag, which they qualified for the finals of this mission.

2018

Since 2018, the group has now consisted of 48 athletes between the ages of 7 and 40. Both the athletic level of the group and its awareness have increased over time.

In June 2018 they were invited to appear on the show "Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde" in Monte Carlo ; a French show that first aired on December 26, 1998 and is now considered one of the greatest entertainment shows in the world.
In May, the group took part in NBC 's American talent show " America's Got Talent " and on September 18, 2018 in Los Angeles was the only amateur troupe to take second place in the final.
