Zvi stomach
Zvi Magen ( Hebrew צבי מגן; * 1945 ) is an Israeli diplomat .
Magen was the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine from 1993 to 1997 . He was then ambassador to Russia from 1998 to 1999 . From 1999 to 2006 he headed Nativ , an Israeli organization for contact with the Jewish diaspora in the former Eastern Bloc countries. From 2006 to 2009, Magen headed the Institute for Eurasian Studies at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzlia .
