Zvonimir Červenko (born November 13, 1926 in Prijepolje , † February 17, 2001 in Zagreb ) was a Croatian general .

Červenko was Janko Bobetkos successor from July 1995 Chief of Staff of the Croatian Army . Operation Sturm took place under him , during which the Republic of Serbian Krajina was captured by Croatian troops in August 1995 . His death in 2001 avoided a possible charge of war crimes related to ethnic cleansing before the International Criminal Court .

In the ICTY's indictment against Ante Gotovina , Mladen Markač and Ivan Čermak, Zvonimir Červenko is described as a member of a criminal organization whose aim was the permanent expulsion of the Serbian population from the territory of the Republic of Serbian Krajina .
