Zvonimir Črnko
Zvonimir Črnko (born August 1, 1936 in Buševec , † January 25, 2008 in Zagreb ) was a Croatian actor .
Life
Črnko turned to acting after activities as a football player and musician; in Zagreb he attended the Gavella Theater Academy. His first stage experiences as Hamlet were followed by engagements as rebellious young men in a number of television films. The series Kad je mac krojio pravdu in 1967 and, two years later, Sumorna jesen were great successes . Known as difficult, but popular with the audience, the actor was also seen on the big screens in major films; He played roles in both Covjek koga treba ubiti and Izgubljeni zavicaj . After bad reviews in 1985, Črnko retired from acting and lived with his sister in Velika Gorica , having been forced into a wheelchair by diabetes in the last years of his life.
