Two schools under one roof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term two schools under one roof refers to schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina . Children and young people from two ethnic groups, those of the Bosniaks and the Croatians , attend classes in the same building, but are physically separated from each other and learn according to different curricula, often at different times of the day. There are just over 50 such schools in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

The ethnic segregation is a consequence of the Bosnian War (1992–1995).
