The little lizards ( Parvilacerta ) are a genus from the family of the real lizards (Lacertidae). They live on the ground and occur predominantly in dry mountainous areas.

features

Little lizards reach a head-torso length of about 65 mm. The males are barely larger than the females. The head and trunk are only slightly flattened. Unlike most other real lizards, the wing bone , which forms part of the palate, is dentate.

Little lizards are native to the Asian part of Turkey , parts of Armenia and disjunct in Lebanon .
