Tsvetan Sokolov ( Bulgarian Цветан Соколов , English transcription: Tsvetan Sokolov ; born December 31, 1989 in Dupnitsa ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player .

Career

Sokolow began his career in 2003 with Marek Junion Iwkoni. In 2008 the Italian first division side Itas Diatec Trentino wanted to commit the diagonal attacker. But there was a legal dispute because of the young age of the player, so that the transfer could only be carried out a year later. In his first season with Trentino, Sokolow won the national cup and the Champions League in 2010 . In 2011 the club repeated its success in the Champions League and also became Italian champions. The next cup win followed in 2012. With the Bulgarian national team , Sokolow reached fourth place at the Olympic Games in London . After the tournament he moved to Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo within the Italian league .
