The Zwirnsee is a lake in the east of the urban area of Neustrelitz in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The body of water has a poorly structured triangular shape, with a broad southern part and a narrower northern part. The lake has a north-south extension of about 950 meters and a maximum west-east extension of about 650 meters. The lakeshore and the surrounding area are wooded. The lake is located in the eastern part of the Müritz National Park . The surrounding heights reach over 85 m above sea level. NHN .
