Builo (Builó) is an East Timorese place and Suco in the administrative office of Ossu ( municipality of Viqueque ).

geography

Builo was separated from Suco Ossorua in 2017 . The four Aldeias Buareca , Builo , Derulo and Lutuguia are located in the Suco Builo . Sources for drawing the boundaries are not yet available, so that it is also not clear which settlements and whether Mount Builo belong to the new Suco.

Residents

In 2015 there were 1041 inhabitants in the Aldeias, which were now part of Builo in 2017.

history

Builo is said to have once been a powerful empire that fought a fierce battle with Daralari (Suco Babulo ) to draw the line between the powers. Oral traditions in both aldeias tell of the conflict.

politics

The by-elections for the new administration took place in May 2017.
