Cavagnolo ( Piedmontese Cavagneul ) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2247E inwohnern (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Turin (TO) in the region of Piedmont . The patron saint of the place is St. Eusebius .

geography

The municipality is located in the Po Valley , south of the Po River . The municipality covers an area of ​​12.33  km² . The place is at an altitude of 155 meters above sea level. Districts ( frazioni ) are Bricchetto, Casa Are, Casa Mosso, Casa Ostino, Casa Porta, Montechiaro, Piana, Pomaretto, Praie, Punto Verde, Scallaro, Valentino, Valminore and Villa. The neighboring municipalities are Brusasco , Monteu da Po , Lauriano , Moransengo and Tonengo . The municipality borders the province of Asti .

With the Stazione di Cavagnolo-Brusasco, the municipality has a train station on the Chivasso – Asti railway line .
