action
Peter and Malin get married on the island of Saltkrokan. Malin's eight-year-old brother Pelle thinks it's good that Malin is getting a nice husband. At the same time, Pelle is also a little jealous and fears that Malin might rather have Peter than him. Malin explains that there are a lot of things she likes very much, but Pelle will always be her little Pelle. When Malin and Peter had a child named Skrollan some time later, Pelle had to share Malin not only with Peter, but also with her daughter Skrollan. This does a lot and disappears again and again when the adults are not careful. Pelle wishes Skrollan didn't exist.
Slowly he learns to deal with his jealousy and repeatedly helps Skrollan out of a jam. One day when Skrollan gets on a raft that is floating out to sea, Pelle swims to the raft to save her. From the raft, Pelle alerts a passing boat. The two can be saved this way and Malin is really proud of her little brother.
