Nice received a € 8.5 million transfer fee.

Olympique Lyon

For Lyon he played his first league game on August 10, 2008 (1st matchday) in a 3-0 home win over FC Toulouse . At the end of the season, his new club missed the eighth championship in a row and finished third behind Girondins Bordeaux and Olympique Marseille .
