Career
Peter Boon played for the EHC Freiburg in the junior team and the 1b team as well as for the professional team, with which he became champions of the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2002/03 season and was promoted to the DEL . For the club renamed Wölfe Freiburg , which had to be relegated after only one season, Boon scored two goals and two assists in 39 games with 43 penalty minutes. Then the attacker switched to the league competitor REV Bremerhaven , for whom he played for three years and through whose cooperation with the Hannover Scorpions he also got a few assignments in the DEL via a sponsorship license .
At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved to the DEG Metro Stars with his fellow striker from Bremerhaven, Jason Pinizzotto . The first season in the service of the Düsseldorf company was a successful one for Boon. He scored five goals and two assists in his 54 main round appearances and, with his play-off goal in the semi-final series against Nuremberg, contributed to the fact that the extremely mixed season of the DEG Metro Stars ended with participation in the semi-finals. After winning the runner-up with the Düsseldorf team in 2009 , Boon moved to the Towerstars Ravensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2009/10 season . After the end of the season he extended his contract in Ravensburg for another year. In the 2011/2012 season Boon was on the ice for the Schwenninger Wild Wings , again with Jason Pinizzotto. After two years, he moved to the Saxon ice hockey team Lausitzer Füchse from Weißwasser for the 2013/14 season , with whom he played in the DEL2 .
