JaRon Maurice Rush (born April 12, 1979) is an American former college basketball player from Kansas City, Missouri. He played at UCLA and is the older brother of NBA basketball player Kareem Rush and college basketball player Brandon Rush.
Career
Rush played at UCLA along with current NBA star Baron Davis and former NBA player Jerome Moiso. He declared for the NBA draft in 2000 after his sophomore year but was not selected. However he was signed by the Seattle SuperSonics but due to drinking problems he was eventually cut from the roster during training camp. He later played briefly for the Kansas City Knights of the ABA. He is currently an assistant coach at Penn Valley community college in Kansas city, Missouri.
