Peter Barton (Katwijk, 22 february 1980) is a Dutch journalist.

Barton writes articles and columns several (left-winged) media and weblogs. Becouse his parents died at a young age, Barton became an orphin at the age of 16. Shortly afte the death of his mother, Barton rolled into the Dutch squatters scene. During and after his study computer science, Barton wrote a few articles for PC-Active. Later on, he started writing for Ravage. In 2004 he wrote a 54 page book called "Woorden van gelijke strekking" (Words of the same meaning). On the 29th of April 2007 his second book appeared, called "Enkeltje Veenhuizen" (One Way to Veenhuizen), of which parts were previously published in Ravage. [1]
