SpongeBob SquarePants season 5

The animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants is currently in its fifth season. The season started on April 13 2007, with the newest episodes airing from March 3 to March 7 2008.

81	April 13, 2007	Friend or Foe	Patchy becomes the fry cook at The Chum Bucket, a local sea food/burger restaurant. He becomes upset, however, after Potty is appointed the Assistant Manager. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs tells the story of his and Plankton's former friendship.
82	July 30, 2007	The Original Fry Cook	SpongeBob tries to impress a world-renowned chef named Jim, who once worked at the Krusty Krab. He realizes Jim much better than he is, and begins to fear for his job. When SpongeBob finds out Jim isn't taking his job and is just there to visit, he's greatly relieved.
		Night Light	After reading a story about the boogeyman, SpongeBob becomes scared of the dark, buying night lights in bulk. Patrick admits he is scared of the dark too. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy come to the pineapple and say that there is nothing to be afraid of, after he flashes the Mermaid Man signal. Once the sun comes up SpongeBob gets over his fear. Mark Hamill guest stars in episode "Night Light".
83	February 19, 2007	Rise and Shine	SpongeBob wakes up one day and wonders what Patrick does every morning. We discover that Patrick is very disorganized in the morning and doesn't think clearly. ("I've got to brush my pants and put on my teeth!")
		Waiting	SpongeBob gets enough cereal box tops to get a prize in the mail. SpongeBob wants his prize really badly so he stands by the mail waiting for it. Patrick starts waiting with him. The toy comes and they think they have broken it. Squidward comes and tells them the toy was supposed to "break" and the two are relieved.
	September 29, 2007	Fungus Among Us	SpongeBob wakes up finding Gary eating a green piece of goop on the floor. SpongeBob gets some on him but goes to work anyway, unaware of the imminent consequences. SpongeBob gets some goop on Squidward and Mr. Krabs. He finds out it is the Ick, a terrible sickness. SpongeBob has to stay in a bubble to be safe. Patrick pops it but then blows a new one, allowing SpongeBob to move around. Gary goes with him to the Krusty Krab and sees everybody has the Ick. Gary eats the Ick off of everybody, and they become normal again.
84	July 23, 2007	Spy Buddies	Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob and Patrick to find out what Plankton is up to. SpongeBob and Patrick go around town spying on Plankton's various activities. When Plankton attacks the Krusty Krab, Patrick retaliates by blowing his blimp up. SpongeBob finds out Mr. Krabs and Plankton switched places to see how hard it is to live each other's lives.
		Boat Smarts	Mrs. Puff shows a video of how to be a good driver, and a bad driver. She uses Squidward as the good driver, and SpongeBob as the bad one. She explains how you can be like Squidward, and in the end SpongeBob destroys the whole town. Then he says he actually has boat smarts and says, "Looks like you forgot yer boat smarts," to Squidward and Mrs. Puff.
		Good Ol' Whatshisname	Mr. Krabs tells Spongebob and Squidward that if they learn the names of all who dine at the Krusty Krab, they will win a prize. Squidward and SpongeBob are even in the contest; Squidward tries to find out the last guy's name to win. When Squidward asks him for his name, he says "What's it to ya?". Squidward steals his driver's license, only to discover the guy's name is Mr. What Zit Tooya. The police haul Squidward off to jail, where he's nevertheless convinced he will get out in ten years and go on a fabulous ocean liner cruise. While there, Mr. Krabs arrives to tell him otherwise: he's only won a brochure. Squidward is dismayed and can't even get any peace and quiet because he has Patrick as a cellmate.
85	July 25, 2007	New Digs	One day SpongeBob is a minute late for work because he overslept the night before. SpongeBob begins to worry. He tries his best to impress Mr. Krabs by being an on time employee. He tells Mr. Krabs he is a minute late and begs Mr. Krabs to forgive him for what he did. Then Spongebob gets an idea: he'll now live at the Krusty Krab so he'll never be tardy again. Spongebob makes the Krusty Krab just like home. Soon he goes too far, making the Krusty Krab a little bit too homey. Eventually Mr. Krabs kicks SpongeBob out, and he and Squidward are neighbors again. Squidward doesn't like having Spongebob as a neighbor so Squidward moves in to the Krusty Krab.
		Krabs a la Mode	In his latest scheme, Plankton changes the thermostat at the Krusty Krab.
86	July 27, 2007	Roller Cowards	A new ride called "the Fiery Fist o' Pain" opens at Glove World and SpongeBob and Patrick want to ride it. That night, they each have a bad dream, and change their minds, unbeknownst to each other. Once they get to Glove World, SpongeBob and Patrick go on all the kiddie rides, both trying to avoid the new coaster without disclosing their fears. When they finally go on it, they like it and want to go again.
		Bucket Sweet Bucket	Karen yells at Plankton for making the Chum Bucket dirty and wants him to get somebody to clean it. Plankton gets SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward to do it. Plankton sneaks into the Krusty Krab to get the formula while everybody is gone. When he does, he finds out it is just Mr. Krabs "to do" list.
87	July 26, 2007	To Love a Patty	SpongeBob cooks up a perfect patty and doesn't want anybody to eat it. SpongeBob keeps the patty and falls in love with it. SpongeBob starts to take the patty everywhere, even taking it on a date to the Krusty Krab. After several hours, the patty is so old and ugly looking, Mr. Krabs makes him eat it.
		Breath of Fresh Squidward	Squidward has built an electric fence. After getting shocked by it while leaving his house, he inexplicably becomes friends with SpongeBob and Patrick. SpongeBob thinks Squidward is trying to steal Patrick from him and makes Squidward go home. Squidward gets shocked by his own fence again and goes back to normal, but SpongeBob and Patrick get shocked too and they become angry and very mean, just like Squidward.
88	July 31, 2007	Money Talks	Mr. Krabs wishes he can talk to money. Then the Flying Dutchman shows up because he heard his wish. Then Mr. Krabs has the ability to talk to money. The money starts talking to him but they bug him about what they want to be spent on. It drives him crazy, but in order to get rid of this "curse", he has to sell his soul to the Flying Dutchman, but Mr. Krabs already sold his soul to other ghosts...and SpongeBob, because he is 5 dollars short on pay day.
		SpongeBob Vs. the Patty Gadget	In a poem, Squidward suggests SpongeBob should be replaced by a robot that can create Krabby Patties at a high speed. SpongeBob challenge against the machine and wins, but he is so tired, he drops to the ground. The bystanders throw a funeral, but it turns out the funeral is for the machine.
		Slimy Dancing	Squidward competes against SpongeBob and Patrick in a dance contest. Squidward did not make it to the finals, contrary to his expectations, but SpongeBob and Patrick do. They ask Squidward how he did, but he lies that he's so great, he's been banned from the competition. SpongeBob and Patrick ask him to be their mentor. While teaching them, Squidward ends up inside SpongeBob. He decides to control the sponge's moves so he take credit if SpongeBob wins. SpongeBob wins, but is disqualified when Squidward is discovered. Patrick wins the competition because he was the only one who didn't cheat.
89	July 24, 2007	The Krusty Sponge	A food critic named Gene Scallop comes to the Krusty Krab and gives SpongeBob a good review. People start liking SpongeBob's food, so Mr. Krabs turns the restaurant into the Krusty Sponge. The Spongy Patty becomes the new attraction, but when the customers eat the patties, they turn into to yellow zombies. Mr. Krabs has to go to court, but the judge is a huge SpongeBob fan so Mr. Krabs is acquitted.
	February 19, 2007	Sing a Song of Patrick	Patrick sees an offer on the back of a comic book that with $100, he could write a song and have it recorded by a band. He decides to write a song, but after recording, the band dies. Patrick goes to SpongeBob's house to listen to it, but it is so bad that SpongeBob's pineapple house rots. Apparently, SpongeBob likes it despite having everything he owned destroyed by the song, and he helps Patrick get it on the radio. The radio station refuses, so they hijack the radio tower and the entire town is forced to listen to it. This causes an angry mob to form and go after them.
90	August 1, 2007	A Flea in her Dome	Sandy comes back from a science convention in Texas and brings back a flea. The flea reproduces rapidly and ends up engulfing Sandy's treedome. SpongeBob comments that they are going to have to live the rest of their lives in fleas instead of water, and this gives Sandy the idea of flooding the treedome with water by leaving the doors open. While this succeeds in exterminating the fleas, the entire ocean and everyone in it is absorbed into the treedome as well.
		The Donut of Shame	SpongeBob and Patrick have a party. The next day, Patrick takes the donut he saw from SpongeBob's hand. When Patrick gets home he remembers that the donut is SpongeBob's. Patrick tries to hide the donut when SpongeBob comes to his house. When SpongeBob came to Patrick's house he showed a video, showing SpongeBob gave the donut to Patrick on his Birthday.
		The Krusty Plate	SpongeBob is going home after work and Mr. Krabs tells him that he missed a spot on a plate. Mr. Krabs reminds him that no one is allowed to go home until the entire restaurant is cleaned. SpongeBob tries various ways to wash the plate, but the spot doesn't come off. SpongeBob gets a giant cleaning gun out and shoots it with the gun and turned it on up to maximum power. The spot comes off, but he destroys the Krusty Krab.
91	TBA	Goo Goo Gas	Plankton creates a gas that reverses the process of aging and changes adults to babies.
	September 29, 2007	Le Big Switch	SpongeBob becomes a French chef, while the French chef works at the Krusty Krab.
92	November 12, 2007	Atlantis SquarePantis (TV Movie)	SpongeBob and Patrick uncover part of the lost amulet of Atlantis which, if both pieces are put together, will take them on a journey to the lost city of Atlantis. On the way to Atlantis, SpongeBob dreams of finding the "World's Oldest Bubble" which Squidward showed them in a museum. But, they don't know Plankton sneaked onto the bus, and is scheming to capture Atlantis for himself.
93	August 2, 2007	Picture Day	It's time for picture day at Boating School and SpongeBob makes sure he looks very nice before walking to the school. However, he keeps getting dirty and having to go home to clean himself. When SpongeBob finally gets to school, he gets dirty again - only this time his picture is about to be taken and he can't go home.
		Pat No Pay	Patrick goes to the Krusty Krab and orders a lot of Krabby Patties. When Mr. Krabs asks for money Patrick doesn't give it to him. Mr. Krabs makes Patrick work for the Krusty Krab until he gets enough money to pay for his meal.
		BlackJack	SpongeBob gets a letter from his cousin, BlackJack, saying that he has gotten out of jail and kidnapped his parents. SpongeBob goes to his parents house, but they aren't there. He goes to his Grandma's house, but she isn't there. He goes to his Uncle Blue's house but he just tells SpongeBob where BlackJack's house is. When he gets there, he finds out his parents where just throwing a party for BlackJack, but BlackJack is very small.
94	August 3, 2007	Blackened Sponge	SpongeBob is brushing his teeth and the cap of the toothpaste hits him directly in the eye luckily he did not get a black eye. While he is returning the wrench he fell and slip and the wrench hits him directly in the eye then he gets a black eye. SpongeBob goes around town saying he got into a fight with a guy named Jack M. Crazyfish. People keep believing him until Mr. Crazyfish shows up at the of the Krusty Krab and SpongeBob tells the truth and ends up getting 2 black eyes because he repeat what he did that morning. All SpongeBob trying to do is to not look stupid, but instead of doing that he look even more stupid in front of everyone.
		Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob	Plankton gets mad that Mr. Krabs gets to make TV commercials. He gives Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy mind-control shampoo and makes them attack the Krusty Krab. Plankton is doing well until SpongeBob gives Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy a Krabby Patty. When they eat the patty, they come out of their trance.
95	November 23, 2007	The Two Faces of Squidward	SpongeBob and Squidward are at work one day, and SpongeBob breaks Squidward's face. Squidward has to get plastic surgery. Once he is done, he is handsome. All the girls fall for him. Squidward likes it until the people start to get into his way. Squidward tells SpongeBob to break his face again. He does, but that makes Squidward more handsome. Squidward starts to run and runs into a pole and turns back to normal.
		SpongeHenge	SpongeBob goes outside when it is very windy and the wind starts to make music through his pores. The music attracts a little jellyfish. SpongeBob starts to like his little friend until more jellyfish start to come. SpongeBob starts to run away from them and goes into a cave. SpongeBob builds an artificial SpongeBob to make music to get the jellyfish to go away. SpongeBob finds it is not enough so he makes more, larger ones. SpongeBob gets away. 3,000 years later, aliens see the big SpongeBobs and wonder who made them.
96	November 23, 2007	Banned in Bikini Bottom	A lady comes the Krusty Krab and decides to ban Krabby Patties because they are fun and delicious. Mr. Krabs decides to run a secret Krusty Krab out of Spongebob's house. The same lady comes and decides to arrest him and SpongeBob. She tries a Krabby Patty and decides to let people have them.
		Stanley S. SquarePants	SpongeBob's uncle Sherm (from "Krab Borg", season three) sends his son, Stanley, to SpongeBob's house. However, it says in a note that Stanley destroys everything he touches. Mr. Krabs gives Stanley a job at the Krusty Krab, but SpongeBob has to cover for him when he starts blowing up things. Eventually, when Mr. Krabs figures out it was Stanley, he gives him to Plankton...free of charge.
97	November 23, 2007	20,000 Patties Under the Sea	Right ouside SpongeBob's house, Patrick and SpongeBob find an old submarine. They show it to Mr. Krabs and he decides to make a mobile Krusty Krab. Plankton sees this and makes a mobile Chum Bucket. SpongeBob and Patrick go around the city but fall into a deep trench. They see a sea monster and he wants food so SpongeBob and Patrick give it to him. Plankton tells the monster not to buy, but he does. When they return to the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs asks for the money, but SpongeBob traded the money for sea rocks.
		The Battle of Bikini Bottom	Patrick and SpongeBob see people reenacting The Battle of Bikini Bottom. Patrick says the battle started when people that wanted to be clean and people that wanted to be dirty got in a fight. SpongeBob finds out that Patrick likes to be dirty, while he likes to be clean. Patrick tries to get SpongeBob dirty, while the sponge tries to clean up Patrick. SpongeBob tells Patrick that it doesn't matter if you are clean or dirty on the outside, that it just matters what's on the inside.
98	November 23, 2007	The Inmates of Summer	SpongeBob takes too long to say goodbye to Patrick and ends up on a prison boat instead of the ship to summer camp. SpongeBob wants to have fun, so he suggests that the prison put on a play. The prisoners escape during the play, but are caught. To punish them, the warden brings in the head of the summer camp (who happened to be looking for SpongeBob), who subjects the prisoners to all sorts of "torture", which is actually things that SpongeBob would do at summer camp.
		To Save a Squirrel	SpongeBob and Patrick stow away on one of Sandy's trips and become lost in the wild. They find an old man in a cave and he says to SpongeBob to eat Patrick when Patrick is trying to eat SpongeBob. The old man is actually Sandy and they almost eat her.

Season to be determined

The production codes of the following episodes, which indicate the season, have not yet been revealed. Thus it is possible that these episodes could be a part of season five or season six. Once the second volume of Season 5 is released on DVD, the correct production codes and season will be determined for each episode.

100	5 March 2008	Gone	SpongeBob wakes up one day and finds that something important is missing - namely, all the other inhabitants of Bikini Bottom. He initially tries to make everything normal by imitating everyone in town (earning his driver's license while imitating Mrs. Puff), but is slowly driven mad by his only friend, a boat that seems to be alive. Just as SpongeBob completely loses it, the entire town comes back from a celebration of "No SpongeBob Day." Then, the entire town goes away without Patrick on "No Patrick Day."
	6 March 2008	Suction Cup Symphony	Squidward tries to write a song, but Spongebob and Patrick disturb him.
