The human body is the entire physical structure of a human organism. The human body consists of a head, neck, torso, two arms and two legs.
The average height of an adult male human is about 1.8 m (6 feet) tall and the adult female about 1.6 to 1.7 m (5 to 5.5 feet) tall. This size is firstly determined by diet and secondly by genes. Body type and body composition are influenced by postnatal factors such as diet and exercise.
By the time the human reaches adult-hood, the body consists of close to 100 trillion cells. Each is part of an organ system designed to perform essential life functions. The body's organ systems include: the circulatory system, immune system, respiratory system, digestive system, excretory system, urinary system, musculoskeletal system, nervous system, tegumentary system, the Lymphatic Systemendocrine system and the male and / or female reproductive system.
The body includes a large amount of organs. These are: The Brain, lungs, heart, liver, spleen, stomach, kidneys, gallbladder, bladder, pancreas, large intestine(colon), small intsetine (ileum),the male and female genitals, appendix and the skin.
The human body consists of tissues and cells. Combination of individual atoms, molecules, polypeptides, cells in human body, is a source of emergence.
