Wapserveen (52°50′N 6°13′E / 52.833°N 6.217°E / 52.833; 6.217) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Westerveld, and lies about 21 km northwest of Hoogeveen.

In 2004 the town had 760 inhabitants. In 2001 the built-up area of the town was 0.11 km², and contained 121 residences.[2] The statistical area "Wapserveen", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 880.[3]
