Marcos Calderón

Marcos Calderón was a football coach. He leads Peru national football team to win the Copa América 1975 and to the second fase on the 1978 World Cup finals.

He was born in 1928 and died while was coaching Alianza Lima in an aviation crash occured in December 8th, 1987, with the whole team.

Marcos Calderón is the most winner Coach in the whole history of the Peruvian First Division Tournament. He has several titles with Universitario de Deportes, Sport Boys, Sporting Cristal and other clubs.

He also was a football player on the 1950's. Few years after farewall, he began coaching.
