Homosexuality and other issues

Homosexuality was recognized as a mental disorder for thousands of years until homosexuals terrorized the American Psychological Association to change its status. Regardless, it remains a mental disorder. The attraction to the same gender is the mental illness, to act on it is the choice.

Ireland is part of the British Isles whether the Southern Irish like it or not and the vast majority of the residents of the British isles see it as such. It's also worth reminding you that it is a geographical not a political term. Islands of the United Kingdom as well as its overseas areas are not referred to as British Isles. Southern Irish may feel offended when we correctly refer to their territory as being part of the British Isles but they do the same to us when they refer to the Irish Republic as Ireland! Do they mean the island of Ireland when they say Ireland or the Irish Republic? It is very offensive to the British to imply or suggest that Northern Ireland is part of the Irish Republic. They have also completely missed the point with a United Ireland. It's not just the island of Ireland (through THEIR own actions) that is divided it is the BRITISH Isles. And that is the real tragedy of partition, that two parts of one former country are divided when there's no need for them to be. That's what we need to fix and that can only be achieved by Ireland taking its rightful place within the United Kingdom, especially now the United Kingdom is devolved. That is the way to achieve Irish unity.

There is plenty of evidence that suggests the moon landings are a hoax and what is more realistic? That NASA really did go to the moon or they hoaxed the whole thing? We have only their word to go by that they did not hoax it and they CAN'T PROVE ANY OF THE OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS that they have made!

As for the holocaust, this subject should be free to be re-examined like all other aspects of history and people should not be jailed on bogus charges just for stating an opinion that differs from the mainstream. The truth must previal and must not be silenced no matter how unpopular that may be. Most "holocaust deniers" are nothing of the sort. All they have done is question aspects of the offical record of the holocaust and for that they are treated by the state like rapists and murderers. Outrageous. Arms Crisis

Hey, when I read the article, a question strikes me. What was it exactly that Haughey/Blaney were charged with in the trial? The article says that they went on trial on May 28 and that it collapsed. Do you know?

Also, you changed the intro from "import arms for use by the IRA" to "import arms for the IRA". The difference, in my mind, is that importing arms for, means that the IRA asked them to do it, (and could be also written as import arms ON BEHALF OF the IRA). "For the use of" is more benign and means that it was intendeded that IRA members would use them. I don't know which it is, I am just pointing out how it might be interpreted by readers.--Rye1967 23:56, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

• CAIN says that the offence was "conspiracy to illegally import arms". It's illegal under the Firearms Act for anyone to import firearms into the country without a license from the Minister for Defence. So they would most likely have been charged under this law (or an updated version of it) — the case hinged on whether Jim Gibbons had authorised the importation. I agree with Mel that this is likely somebody's sock. His confusion over when he made edits in vio of 3RR suggests that he may making edits from multiple accounts and accidentally conducted some of his edit-warring from the "wrong" account. Oh, the tangled webs we weave, etc. Anyhow, I'm going to start noting the names and IPs of other, similarly provocative edits and can file a RFCU when I have enough info. Harrasment and Stalking

Please stop harrasing, stalking, reverting perfectly reasonable edits to pages and sending unsolicited messages (SPAM) whenever anyone tries to remove Irish Nationalist bias towards articles concerning the island of Ireland (which is partially British) or the British Isles (which includes ALL of Ireland and is mearly a GEOGRAPHICAL term ONLY). Despite your viscious incinuations, I am not disrupting Wikipedia by attempting to provoke argument on talk pages, you are the one doing that by reverting attempts to remove Irish Nationalist bias from articles. The whole world apart from some Irish Nationalists understands the meaning of the term British Isles and recognizes that Ireland is within the British Isles, that is the vast majority opinion and an opinion which is of the vast majority is not POV and must previal. Now how on earth can an article about the British Isles Council not be considered bias if only Irish Nationalist names are used to describe it?! The article mentions an unofficial name which is just another Irish Nationalist name for the council just as the official name is an Irish Nationalist name. No non-Irish Nationalist name is currently displayed, the obvious being British Isles Council. This makes the article POV in favor of Irish Nationalists, a tiny minority. Why should a tiny minority rule over the majority? Ok, so the Council has been officially given the wrong name to appease Irish Nationalists. This is a grave error of judgement, but to then go and not allow a non-Irish Nationalist name for the UNOFFICIAL name of the Council (and the name which makes the most sense for the Council based on the opinion of the vast majority of Both the British Isles and the world in general, is outrageous). A section about the controversial naming of this Council and how less than 10% of the population was allowed to hijack the name of it over 90%+ of the majority of the British Isles for its own propoganda purposes just might be in order!YourPTR! 00:55, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Bornmann AFD

Also, I can't see how that rule is meaningful, since all I have to do is create a extra account and add my site in so it doesn't appear to be submitted by me, or ask a friend who has a wikipedia account to consider adding it?

Since you're obviously interested in Connemara, and a regular Wikipedia editor, and chance you could add Connemara.net yourself? There is no other website out there with more information on the area - that's why I originally created it, and that's the way it still is. At the moment there are no external links on the page - that's pretty ridiculous.

FWIW, I think that's an excellent idea. Virgil Griffith, the Vatican, and You

Dear Sir: You may find it of interest that anonymous user number 217.59.51.67, whose vandalism you reverted in the "Gerry Adams" article on 17 Oct. 2006 ("Fresh murder question raised"), has an IP address that has been traced by software designed by Mr. Virgil Griffith to the Vatican. The software is called Virgil Griffith's Wikipedia Scanner, available at http://wikiscanner.virgil.gr/

I found out about Mr. Griffith via the article, "Credibility of Wikipedia Takes a Dive After Wired Expose: Online encyclopedia outed as bias tool of intelligence agencies, corporations by new Wikipedia Scanner database" by Paul Joseph Watson at www.prisonplanet.com on 14 August 2007.

I went to http://wikiscanner.virgil.gr/ and clicked on the Vatican City data. The "Gerry Adams" article caught my eye, and that's how I found your edit of last 17 Oct.

Hello - I see you've participated in the TalkPage discussion at Lough Neagh. I have created a table of the different contributors and their views/arguments about the geographical description to be applied. I am proposing that, if there is a clear consensus then the article is modified to reflect the consensus amongst editors.
