Owenism is a term used to represent the Utopian socialist philosophy of Robert Owen, and derivations thereof. Perhaps the most notable organization of Owenites was their unsuccessful project at New Harmony, which they intended to construct as a utopia.

Also, Owenism can be used to describe a simplistic outlook on life in which one fills the day with the playing of games, typically electronic computer games such as world of warcraft. A classic Owenist can be identified by their speech. For example, 'Like ehh', or 'Boys ye' is the traditional call of an Owen.
