Template:NASCAR former driver Jimmy Hensley (born 11 October 1945) in Ridgeway, Virginia and is a former NASCAR driver.

He spent 18 years in the Nascar Winston Cup from 1972 to 1995, driving on an off and racing 98 races. He never did win, but he did collect one top five in his first year of racing, 15 top tens and 1 pole. He also lead 361 laps during his career and collected just over one million dollars.

He was a long-time racer in the Busch Series, winning nine races, collecting 63 top fives, 129 top tens and 15 poles, before taking home the NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year award in 1992 at the age of 46. He won two races for Petty Enterprises in the Craftsman Truck Series, but also got 27 top fives, 64 top tens and four poles in that particular series. In the terms of money earned, he was the most successful in this series.
