A Fine Frenzy

A Fine Frenzy is the stage name used by 22-year-old singer-songwriter Alison Sudol (once known as Alison Monro). Sudol is a self-taught pianist whose debut album, One Cell in the Sea, was released by Virgin Records on July 17 2007. On August 14, 2007, "You Picked Me" from the album was featured on iTunes as the "Free Single of the Week". She was recently featured as a VH1 You Oughta Know artist.[1]. She starred in the first episode of the fourth season of CSI: New York, and played a part of 'Nova Kent' on the show.

Early life

Sudol was born in Seattle, both of her parents were dramatic artists. After they divorced, she moved with her mother to Los Angeles at the age of five. She grew up listening to classical music, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Gary Devoto and The Beatles.[2]
