Coco is the debut album by singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat, which was released on July 17, 2007. The album debuted on the U.S. Billboard 200 at number five, selling about 51,000 copies in its first week.[2] As of May 10th, 2008, the album has sold 1,509,082 copies in the US.[3] The album has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.[4]

Reception
Critical reviews were mixed towards the album. All Music Guide said "she sings about simple, everyday things in an unassuming manner, letting her melodies and girl-next-door charm carry the day".[5] Chuck Arnold (of People magazine) said that "although the midtempo tracks start to blend together, this California girl keeps the sun-kissed sounds coming."[6] Caryn Ganz (with Rolling Stone) said Caillat has "soulful swing, but over a dozen bland, sunny tunes, it's hard to pin her down."[7]
