''Urban Legends: Bloody Mary'' starts off in [[1969]] at a high school in [[Utah]], where the captain of the football team and his friends drug two of their dates. The third girl, Mary, tries to escape but hits her head. She is accidentally killed and her body stuffed in a trunk. Fast-forward to present day, Kate, who works for the school paper writes an article about the football players ruining their reputation, hence she and two of her friends are socially blacklisted, so they decided to have a sleep over at her house and tells ghost stories which included the legend of the missing girl and then also the infamous "[[Bloody Mary (folklore)|Bloody Mary]]" game. Strange things happen, girls disappear and apparently the death of choice is that based on urban legends. The only question that remains is: why is Mary targeting these particular girls?
