Olesya Rulin ( Russian Олеся Юрьевна Рулин ; born March 17, 1986 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is an American actress of Russian origin.

Life

Rulin lived in Russia until she was eight and then relocated to the United States with her family. There she lives in Salt Lake City , Utah . She graduated from West Jordan , Utah High School in 2004 .

After guest appearances in series such as A Touch of Heaven , she received supporting roles in films and cinema productions. Olesya Rulin was supported mainly by her mother. In 2004 she starred in the cinema alongside Lucas Grabeel , Kimberly J. Brown and Joey Zimmerman and musical legend Debbie Reynolds in the third part of Halloweentown . She gained international fame through the role of Kelsi Nielsen in the film High School Musical and its sequels. Together with the other actors from the musical films, Rulin also worked on the respective soundtrack albums. In the high school musical films, Olesya Rulin is dubbed by Lucia Jantos .
