Joseph Paul Zimmerman (born June 10, 1986 in Albuquerque , New Mexico ) is an American film and stage actor . In 2005 he first directed Dogg's Hamlet, Cahoot's MacBeth .

Life

As a toddler, Zimmerman and his family moved to San Diego, California . Zimmerman showed acting ambitions at an early age , so that in 1993 - at the age of six - he made his debut in the thriller Jack Reed - Under Suspicion of Murder at the side of Brian Dennehy . His breakthrough came a year later, in 1994, with Mother's Boys as the film son of Jamie Lee Curtis .

Through this appearance on him, Zimmerman was cast for the science fiction series Earth 2 for the role of Uly Adair , but the series was discontinued after only 21 episodes. For a short time Zimmerman also played the young MacDuff in the touring stage production of " MacBeth ". In 2004 he stood in front of the film camera in a commercial for GE Healthcare .
